 Richard Pena, the author of “The TRAIN that SAVED CHRISTMAS” is a retired railroad engineer.
He and his wife Sharon, reside in Arkansas. They have three children and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Richard dedicates this book to his granddaughter, Johnna. She inspired him to write the song “Santa's GONNA Ride A Freight Train this Year”.
Therefore, she was the motivation for writing the story
“The Train That Saved Christmas”.
